На TeachingEnglish - British Council задали отличный вопрос - что делать, если в классе у преподавателя нет доступа к доскам, бумаге и интернету-компьютеру.
Я напкатал ответ в своем стиле, а они меня потом процитировали :)

This is what Katrin said in full:
1) Montessori style activities:
a) sand or salt trays which students use to write letters or words with their fingers and sticks or pencils – best because they are reusable!
b) Mother Nature help: acorns, chestnuts, rocks, leaves, sticks etc – Students can make letters or words, learn how to count, learn colors or action verbs
c) blocks, Lego, jenga – again, verbs or phonemes, spelling etc
2) ASL (American Sign Language) for spelling practice or vocabulary review: it is an awesome tool to learn animals, colors, action verbs, simple phrases like sorry, thank you, I need etc + "air spelling" (helps kids and adults because it's basically TPR, and it's fun to spell letters big with your arms).
These 2 will make your life in a classroom a breeze.
