Really to give a feedback is very difficult. Some observers think that they give a "constructive feedback" by telling about all of negative points at the lesson and how they can be changed slowly and where teachers have to work..... By doing it through this kind of "hard" feedback, teachers feel only disappointment and they don't want to make any changes, because of these bad emotions and feelings after such "keen" feedback. Some of teachers after such ind of "formative feedback" quit the job. Formative feedback should be given in the manner, when a teacher will enjoy of listening it and it doesn't matter what was more at the lesson:mistakes or positive aspects. Teacher has to be ready to "listen to" a feedback and observer who is giving a feedback to a teacher has to know how to provide a feedback in order to help teacher to improve his/her teaching goals and teching methods.
The same analogy is with students in the classroom- if we give them negative feedback, we have to think about this "negative experience".....
